A Team Effort in Brick

The Brick Train Show was held at the Brick Elks Lodge on Sunday, November 1, 2026. Dave F. drew up the layout plan, while Bill M., John P., and Bobby Sweet from Jersey Central N-TRAK led the setup.

The layout included modules from Bill, John, and Bobby, along with modules from TF Trains and a Jersey Central club module. Jersey Central N-Scale also provided the DCC power setup and wiring. Rich Polk (JCN), John L. (NNJ), and Chris Oliva from New Jersey Southern were on hand to help.

Setup and Operations

Setup started at 7:30 AM, and trains were running by 8:30 AM. The entire layout operated on DCC and ran well throughout the day, with both steam and diesel trains making their rounds.

Attendance was light on what turned out to be a pleasant fall day.

Teardown

Dave F. arrived around 1:30 PM to help with teardown and collect the table covers, gaffer's tape, and extra wires. Teardown began a little before 2:00 PM, and everyone was packed up and heading out before 2:30 PM.
